Overview

SgCarMart is Singapore's largest automotive marketplace. Their Quotz auction platform faced a critical brand challenge: it lacked a distinct identity, leading to user confusion and suppressed seller confidence. In a high-stakes market where trust is the primary currency, Quotz needed a brand that signaled radical transparency and institutional reliability.

Methodology

I developed a 'Radical Transparency' strategy, centering the brand on a versatile 'Q' mark that functions as both a magnifying glass for scrutiny and a stamp of quality. The platform UX was rebuilt to transform seller anxiety into engagement—simplifying the listing process to a three-step flow and introducing real-time bidding dashboards that communicate speed and results through a high-contrast electric blue palette.
